Guidelines for Household Service Workers


Household service workers with visas issued after December 16, 2006, or processed under job orders registered with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) after December 16, 2006, or processed under employment contracts that were verified by the concerned Philippine Overseas Labor Offices (POLOs) after December 16, 2006 are covered by the following requirements:

  • Minimum age of 23
  • Minimum entry salary of US$400
  • No–placement Fee policy;
  • TESDA NC2 Certificate
  • Attendance in the OWWA Language and Culture Orientation.
