8th EPS Korean test to be held in March

The 8th Employment Permit System-Test of Proficiency in Korean (EPS-TOPIK) will be held on March 18, 2012 for those interested to work in Korea’s manufacturing industry only, according to POEA Advisory No. 3, Series of 2012.

Those interested should register for the test from February 6-9, 2012 at the designated venues where they plan to take the test in Manila, Tarlac, Bulacan, Baguio, Iloilo and Davao.

Passing EPS-TOPIK would qualify the applicant to be included in the list of job seekers under the EPS but would not automatically assure them of a job. The test is conducted by the Human Resource Development Service of Korea (HRD Korea) in cooperation with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

Those who plan to take the test are advised to register with the POEA e-Registration System (see the POEA website) and be included in the POEA Manpower Registry so that priority may be given to them when they register for EPS-TOPIK.
