December 7, 2011 by Divina
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) called on the whole nation to pray that the Filipino to be executed in China for drug trafficking on December 8 might be spared from death.
According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Assistant Foreign Affairs Secretary Raul Hernandez made the appeal after China rejected requests from the Philippine Government for the death sentence to be commuted to life imprisonment.
The unidentified Filpino will be given time to meet family members for 40 minutes on the morning of his scheduled execution.
