Non-resident Philippine Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea Nestor N Padalhin presented his credentials to President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo at the Presidential Palace in Bata early this month, according to Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) news.

69 Filipinos in Yemen seek repatriation

The Philippine Embassy team in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa said that they are working on the repatriation of 69 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who asked to return to the Philippines after Yemen was raised to crisis alert level 3 and an OFW deployment ban to the country was put in place.
“Except for three, most of these Filipinos are overstayers and there are penalties that must be settled before the Yemeni Passports Authority would agree to issue them an exit visa,” Embassy Charge d’Affaires Ezzedin Tago said. Read more
