In a press release, DOLE said South Australia suffers from a skills shortage. Though it is the fourth largest of Australia’s six states and two territories, South Australia has a population of only about 1.6 million people, less than 10% of the country’s population. Its economy relies on agriculture, mining, and manufacturing mostly of automotive and component parts, pharmaceuticals, defense technology, and electronic systems. Read more
